Hello there, welcome to my profile page. I am Zeaig, just your everyday computer geek, who also has a fondness for anime and the anthropomorphic fandom. Some of you may know me from a game called Second Life where i run a small sci-fi city called “Shin Akiba“ which is home to my shop “Kawaii Anime”. Perhaps you have seen me on Steam, Twitter, Discord, FA, or maybe you have stumbled across this page randomly and are wondering who is this person and why on earth am i here?
Well i will try to give you a little insight about my self.
I am a bit what you would call a technology enthusiast, just imagining what kinds electronic devices or cutting edge things i may get to see in my lifetime really excites me. Sometimes i think it really is what drives me through the boring slow parts of life, waiting for that next big thing to really pull me in and change everything. Be it an amazing new device, a new video game engine, robots, quad-copters, virtual reality devices, advanced computer technologies. Maybe its my love for sci-fi who knows, sometimes i feel like we are so far off from technologies we see in movies, yet other times it feels as if we are closer than we think.
Video games are also another big part of my life basically if i’m not at work i will be playing some sort of game usually Overwatch. I used to be a die hard Team Fortress 2 fan but Overwatch really has taken the stage for me when it comes to competitive FPS games. Second Life is also another huge thing for me, when i was younger i actually was able to somewhat make a living from it with the income from my anime shop. I played World of Warcraft for nearly 10 years and occasionally still do, I played Ragnarok Online, Tera Online, Guildwars 1 and 2. Basically if you name a mmorpg i have at least tried it and most likely spent some time with it. That being said if i had to pick an all time favorite game it would have to be Mass Effect, something about that series really hit home with me and nothing has ever effected me the way that game has.
Anime is also another thing i’m a big geek about, i have really been watching anime before i even knew what it was. Back in those days, anime was just a cartoon that sorta looked well, i guess strangely drawn? i wasn't even aware it had a name or that it was from another country i just knew i really enjoyed it. Recently i have come across a sort of dilemma where i have seen so many anime titles, that i have actually found it somewhat hard to find new interesting ones to watch. Basically i have seen everything that's noteworthy, and have even watched most of the more underground shows. I get asked all the time, "what is your favorite anime?" and really if i had to list my absolute favorite anime title i don’t think i really could, I have enjoyed so many that its hard to really point at any single one. If i had to pick some stand out titles to me, Hellsing, Claymore, The Familiar of Zero, Kaze No Stigma, Gargantua on the Verdurous planet, Spice and Wolf, Accel World, Shana, Dot Hack, Sword art Online, Shuffle!, Kasimasi, Man i could just go on forever with this list see the issue? Lets just say my collection of anime/game merchandise rivals that of any super-nerd you have seen on the internet.
I don’t want my profile to become unbearably long so i will try to compact the rest as best i can. I love playing piano, I have been playing for pretty much the majority of my life. Currently i have a Korg M3 Workstation Expanded keyboard, which honestly is probably one of my most valued possessions. Ideally i would love to somehow get into making music for video games but that's just a far fetched dream. I love doing graphic design, a lot of what i have learned has been from playing second life and learning new tidbits or techniques to help me with my shops merchandise. I have been known to occasionally do Photoshop commissions for friends, or if its a project that i find interesting but i rarely have the time these days to really delve into anything complicated or tedious.
